Welcome to the Telecooperation Website. Telecooperation (TK) represents a group of about 35 people at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Department of Computer Science. Prof. Dr. Max Mühlhäuser is heading this group together with several senior researchers and group leaders. Details about the organization and a description of our research can be found on our research pages.
Our research and teaching contribute to a new dawning era of computer science, where people are surrounded by many computers, most of which are not ordinary computers in the classical sense. This era is called ubiquitous computing or ambient intelligence; it demands advancements in computer networks and distributed systems (our emphasis in teaching), software and Web engineering, multimodal human computer interaction, security, and participatory knowledge processing of humans and machines.
