Our group travels to Eurocrypt, Zurich 2024
2024/05/13 by Dr. Maximilian Orlt
With five Ph.D. students from the Chair of Applied Cryptography and Sebastian Faust, our group was well represented at this year's EUROCRYPT in Zurich. As one of the most prestigious scientific conferences in cryptography, EUROCRYPT provides a fantastic opportunity to engage with leading researchers from around the world. This year, our researchers once again enjoyed insightful talks and discussions on cryptographic advancements.
As part of the main program, Elena Micheli presented our latest paper on Side-Channel Masking—a widely used countermeasure against side-channel attacks. Her work, co-authored with Sebastian Faust, Loïc Masure, Maximilian Orlt, and François-Xavier Standaert, is titled “Connecting Leakage-Resilient Secret Sharing to Practice: Scaling Trends and Physical Dependencies of Prime Field Masking”
Beyond the main conference sessions, we had the chance to connect with other research groups during breaks and conference dinners, leading to exciting new collaborations.
