Benjamin Defended his PhD thesis

Benjamin Schlosser successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled “Improving Scalability, Privacy, and Decentralization of Blockchains and their Applications via Multiparty Computation.” at TU Darmstadt on August 27, 2024. Benjamin presented his research results during his doctoral examination. The examination committee consisted of Prof. Dr. Ahmad Sadeghi (TU Darmstadt), Prof. Dr. Zsolt Istvan (TU Darmstadt), Prof. Carmit Hazay (Bar-Ilan University), and Prof. Dr. Sebastian Faust (TU Darmstadt). During his research, Benjamin advanced the research on the scalability and decentralization of blockchains by constructing efficient MPC protocols. His research has been published in leading cryptography and security conferences. The Chair of Applied Cryptography team congratulates Benjamin and wishes him all the best for his future career.
