In the software cluster we deal extensively with the protection of mobile devices, such as in sensor networks, smart phones or laptops. The diverse application areas of such mobile devices also offer a large potential attack. Therefore, new and existing technologies, taking into account the low storage capacity and energy constraints, are explored, implemented and evaluated to ensure security when interacting with mobile devices. Lightweight cryptography is an approach that takes into account the resource constraints of mobile devices, in particular for sensor nodes, in order to guarantee the demands for efficiency and high security standards.
