New to the Dean's Office: Nadine Moldaner
Dean's assistant and contact person for doctoral procedures
2026/02/23
In February, Nadine Moldaner will succeed Heike Schmitt-Spall as the dean's assistant and become the new contact person for doctoral procedures. Having previously worked at the graduate college “Privacy and Trust for Mobile Users”, she is already familiar with the Department of Computer Science and is now returning from the Department of Human Sciences.
What tasks will you be responsible for in the dean's office?
My main responsibility will be handling the department's doctoral procedures. In future, however, I will also take on additional administrative duties.
What experience do you bring from previous positions?
I have almost 13 years' experience working as an administrative and technical employee at TU Darmstadt. I spent five of those years as an assistant in the dean's office of the Department of Human Sciences and many years as an assistant in the Computer Science and Human Sciences departments at TU Darmstadt.
What particularly appeals to you about your new responsibilities?
I particularly enjoy the interface role that comes with working in the dean's office.
I am looking forward to collaborating with the various status groups and committees to provide the dean's office with the best possible support.
When and how can you be reached?
I am available every day, preferably by phone or email. Personal appointments are also possible, but these should be arranged in advance. My contact details can be found on the Dean's Office website.
Your best tip for doctoral candidates
You can find a wealth of information on the subject of doctoral studies on the central websites of TU Darmstadt and on our departmental pages. Many questions are answered here in advance. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact the Dean's Office.
Thank you very much, we wish you a good start!
