Private AI Collaborative Research Institute
The Private AI Collaborative Research Institute was initiated by Intel, Avast, and Borsetta to advance and develop technologies in privacy and trust for decentralized artificial intelligence (dAI). The companies announced the initial nine awardees at the end of 2020, including two with participation from TU Darmstadt.
The Private AI Collaborative Research Institute follows on from a long-standing research collaboration with Intel. The collaboration in the Intel Research Institute for Collaborative Autonomous and Resilient Systems (ICRI-CARS; 2017-2020) was preceded by successful participation in the Intel Collaborative Research Institute for Secure Computing (ICRI-SC; 2012-2017).
The Department of Computer Science collaborates with SAP research in various areas, for instance in the fields of process support, human-machine-interaction and text mining in social media as well as quantum-resistant security technologies.
