Short Biography

I am currently a group leader, holding the Athene Young Investigator status at Secure Mobile Networking Lab (SEEMOO) at TU Darmstadt. My research is focused on wireless communications both in sub-6Ghz and millimeter-wave bands as well as their applications in emerging areas such as vehicular communication and industry 4.0. I am particularly interested in the mathematical treatment of wireless communication problems, and experimental evaluation using software-defined radio (SDR) prototyping tools.

    Preserving Privacy against WiFi Sensing

    Your WiFi router is constantly monitoring the surrounding. You can analyze the channel state information to detect location and even trajectory of people in their homes. There are many other applications including detecting heartbeat, breathing rate, reading lips, etc. If you interested in implementing one of these systems using real hardware and finding solutions to fight against it, send me an email. Note that these are rather challenging topics as they require good knowledge of communication as well as signal processing.
