Short Biography

Flor Álvarez received her diploma degree in electrical engineering and information networks from the Escuela Politecnica Nacional, Ecuador, and her master degree in information technologies from Hochschule Mannheim. She started working at SEEMOO in October 2014. The motivation for her research is to help the general population in times of crisis such as large-scale natural or man-made disasters. Therefore goal of her research is to study in how far networks for emergency response can be build from available general purpose devices such as smartphones.
