Our research group is located in the third floor of the E wing of the Robert-Piloty building (S2|02, Campus Stadtmitte), which you can see on the picture on the left. The E wing is the upper left wing in the picture.
The main entrances of the Robert-Pioloty building are located at the middle wing (C wing). Note that on the third floor there does not exist a connection between the C and E wing.
Traveling with Public Transportation
Get to the stop Willy-Brandt-Platz and walk through Herrngarten to the Robert-Piloty building. Willy-Brandt-Platz is a central stop and is served by many lines. To travel from/to Darmstadt Central Station (Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof) you can e.g. use Tram 3 or 5 or Bus K, RH, 671 or 672.
Traveling by Train
Choose a connection to Darmstadt main station (Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof). Regional trains as well as many long-distance trains (IC/EC/ICE) stop at Darmstadt main station. From Darmstadt main station you may continue traveling via public transportation.
Traveling by Plane
Darmstadt is close to Frankfurt Airport (FRA – Frankfurt, International). From the airport you can take the train to Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof and from there continue with public transportation. Alternatively, you can take the AirLiner bus from the airport to Luisenplatz. From Luisenplatz the Robert-Piloty building is in walking distance. You may also get to us by taxi or car.
Traveling by Car
Darmstadt can be reached via motorway A5 and A67. Please use your preferred navigation system for a detailed route description. Furthermore note that public parking is difficult at TU Darmstadt Campus Stadtmitte. For parking, please use the parking garage Darmstadium or Schlossgarten.
