I'm a PhD student in the Systems group of Prof. Binnig since February 2022. I pursued my bachelor as well as master's degree in computer science at UNISINOS, in Brazil, on topics related to human pose estimation and computer vision. Afterwards, I worked on research projects in the healthcare and finance industries (Siemens Healthnieers and Dell Financial Services), combining heterogeneous data sources, ranging from images and text to sensor time series. Unexpectedly, the key challenges were the data engineering (data cleaning, data augmentation) and annotation tasks. Therefore, I pivoted my research towards automating data engineering steps by manipulating the latent space of encoder-decoder models, keeping the method dataset agnostic.
