My name is Sven Langenecker. I have joined the Data Management Lab in May 2020. My main research focus is on metadatamanagement for data lakes and the associated automatic extraction of metadata information.

I hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics. I did both degrees at DHBW and in cooperation with the Läpple AG group. An industrial group in the automotive supplier sector.

Beside research I am interested in all kind of sports. But my favourite sport is basketball on and off the field.
