Lamya Abdullah is a Postdoc researcher at the Telecooperation lab. She received her PhD degree in Computer Science in November 2021 at the Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg(FAU). There, she worked on her thesis topic privacy preserving and trustworthy systems.
She started her PhD as an Early Stage Researcher with one of the Marie-Curie ITN projects, named Privacy and Usability. For which, she joined IT Security Infrastructures group at FAU and worked jointly with Uniscon, which is a trusted cloud provider company in Munich.
Currently, she is interested in the aspect of data privacy including users’ preferences, trusted computation, privacy preserving data sharing and processing - systems design and modeling.
