Paper accepted at ACM/IEEE Symposium on Edge Computing (SEC)

The paper entitled “From Cell Towers to Smart Street Lamps: Placing Cloudlets on Existing Urban Infrastructures” was accepted at SEC, a premiere venue for edge computing research. In the paper, TK researchers investigate the coverage and placement of urban cloudlets to enable future edge computing applications in the context of smart cities. The authors are Julien Gedeon, Michael Stein, Jeff Krisztinkovics, Patrick Felka, Katharina Keller, Christian Meurisch, Lin Wang and Max Mühlhäuser.

The symposium will be held October 25th-27th in Bellevue, WA.
