Researchers from TK, Ruhr University Bochum, and CISPA had their paper titled '“It’s Not My Data Anymore”: Exploring Non-Users’ Privacy Perceptions of Medical Data Donation Apps' accepted at the Privacy Enhancing Technologies Symposium (PETS 2025). The paper investigates privacy perceptions of non-users regarding medical data donation apps. Findings show that trust, transparency, and anonymity are driving factors. Furthermore, differences between participants' expectations, preferences, and offerings of data donation apps are explained and recommendations for future development are provided.
