Papers presented at IEEE ICDCS 2017

2017/07/04

TK researchers (Dr. Lin Wang and Julien Gedeon from the SUN area) have made research progress on edge computing and recently, they presented two papers at the 37th IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing Systems (ICDCS). ICDCS is a premier venue and the oldest conference for distributed computing research.

The details of the presented papers are as follows. The full paper addresses the fundamental online resource allocation problem in highly dynamic edge cloud environments, while the workshop paper proposes a novel router-based service discovery mechanism for edge computing.
