Prof. Dr. Max Mühlhäuser gave invited talk at IT-Sicherheitskongress in Bonn

On May 17th, Prof. Dr. Max Mühlhäuser gave an invited talk at the 15th “Deutscher It-Sicherheitskongress” about industrial security and internet of things (IoT) in Bonn-Bad Godesberg. In his keynote “Sicherheit, Privatheit, Vertrauen bei IoT – Herausforderungen für|Recht und Technik” he illustrated privacy, trust and security within IoT as well as the major challenges in law and engineering.

The subject cyber security as precondition for the IoT was then looked at in greater depth in the subsequent panel discussion, moderated by Dr. Ralf Müller-Schmidt (DRadio Wissen), along with Jürgen Schmidt (Heise Medien), Arne Schönbohm (Budesamt für Sicherheit der Informationstechnik) and David Thornewill von Essen (Deutsche Post DHL Group).

The “Deutscher IT-Sicherheitskongress” is organized by the Federal Office for Information Security Bundesamt für Sicherheitstechnik in der Informationstechnik (BSI).
