The Nokia Communicator™ is considered the world’s first smartphone, introduced in 1996. For the “20th unniversary of the smartphone”, Prof. Mühlhäuser was interviewed again about the perspectives for the years ahead: a recent radio interview at “Süddeutscher Rundfunk” was only the most recent in a long series of TV, radio, Internet and print press coverages where Prof. Mühlhäuser reported on findings from a systematic "Smartphone of the Future” technology roadmapping process that he had steered together with Geschka & Partner consulting at TU Darmstadt in 2012.
