TK co-organizes workshop at IUI, the International Conference on Intelligent User Interfaces

The Telecooperation Lab co-organizes the "4th Workshop on Interacting with Smart Objects” in conjunction with IUI'15, the International Conference on Intelligent User Interfaces, on March 29, 2015 in Atlanta, GA, USA.
The workshop will discuss how the interaction with the increasing number of smart objects in our everyday life should be designed from various perspectives. This year’s workshop puts a special focus on affective computing with smart objects, which is supported by a keynote talk by Jean-Claude Martin.
We expect participants from the areas of IUI, HCI, UbiComp, IoT and related areas like psychology and product design. Our goal is to attract high-quality submissions from several research disciplines to leverage the discussion and thus to advance the research of interacting with smart objects. To stimulate discussion between the workshop participants we plan a poster and demo session to spark further in-depth discussions on selected topics.
