Short Biography

Shankar Karuppayah is a postdoc within the Telecooperation group since July 2019. Previously, he was (and still is) a senior lecturer at the National Advanced IPv6 Centre, Universiti Sains Malaysia. He obtained his B.Sc (Computer Science) from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2009 and his M.Sc. (Software Systems Engineering) from King Mongkut's University of Technology North Bangkok in 2011. In 2016, Shankar Karuppayah obtained his PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) with the thesis “Advanced Monitoring in P2P Botnets”. He is currently working actively on several cybersecurity projects and working groups, e.g., the National Research Center for Applied Cybersecurity CRISP (since 2019).
