Multimodal Access and Presentation of Learning Material in Collaborative Settings
The goal of this project is to design technology for the generation of semantically segmented multimedia streams (e.g. topic-based segmented audio streams). Natural Language Processing (NLP) will play a major role in this emerging technology. A completely new kind of multimedia learning material will emerge, consisting of inherently dynamic learning objects with smart access functionality.

Joachim Caspar and Jochen Huber are members of the graduate program (research training group, RTG) on feedback based quality improvement in E-learning funded by DFG.
