Regular seminar
UKP Lab offers a regular seminar focused at different areas in Natural Language Processing every semester. In the seminar, students acquire basic research and presentation skills. Usually, an introduction to the given area of the Natural Language Processing research is given by the teaching staff. Then, students review and present a paper assigned to them. Finally, the written paper has to be produced by the student. This way, students can prepare themselves for a larger research project, such as a Bachelor/Master thesis.
