After he completed his Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science at Ruhr-University Bochum in 2015, Andreas Erwig started his Master's studies in IT-Security at TU Darmstadt. After he graduated in 2017, he moved to Canada for one year to work at a Montreal based cryptography startup. On September 15th, 2018, Andreas Erwig started his PhD at the Applied Cryptography research group at TU Darmstadt. His research interests are the security of cryptographic protocols on blockchain technologies and smart contracts.
