The seminar introduces current topics in Multimodal AI. It delves into state-of-the- art technology at the intersection of Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and Deep Learning. The main focus of the seminar changes each semester. Among other things, the seminar may cover:
- Basics of scientific presentations and reviewing
- Independent familiarization with current publications in Multimodal AI
- Presentation of an existing publication
- Writing a scientific “mock” review of another publication
- Guiding the interactive discussion after the presentation
- Active participation in discussions, including feedback to presenters
