Die Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Association (AAIA) hat Informatikprofessor Kristian Kersting zum AAIA-Fellow ernannt. Sie würdigt ihn damit als Top-Wissenschaftler mit herausragenden Leistungen auf dem Gebiet der künstlichen Intelligenz und des maschinellen Lernens.
The AAIA is an academic, non-profit and non-governmental organization with a membership of 1679 academics worldwide. The main goal of the AAIA is to bring together scientists in the field of AI and other fields worldwide to promote the development and application of AI through academic research, exchange, publications and various other activities.

Informatikprofessor Kristian Kersting ist Leiter des Fachgebiets „Künstliche Intelligenz und Maschinelles Lernen“ (AIML) am Fachbereich Informatik der TU Darmstadt, Mitglied des Centre for Cognitive Science, Dozent der ELLIS Unit Darmstadt und Gründungsdirektor des Hessischen Zentrums für Künstliche Intelligenz (hessian.ai). Zudem leitet er den Forschungsbereich Grundlagen der Systemischen KI am DFKI-Standort Darmstadt.
