in various languages. The main station in Darmstadt is “Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof”, the station of the bus and streetcar service next to the university is “Darmstadt Schloss” (castle). From there just walk at the right side of the science and conference center (Wissenschafts- und Kongresszentrum) “Darmstadtium” towards the main entrance of the Fraunhofer IGD. Follow the general directions.
Streetcar lines 2, 3 and 9 and bus lines F, H and K towards downtown need about 5-10 minutes from the main station and run frequently during the day.

The Motorway A5 connects the airport with Darmstadt. If you rent a car, please use the instructions above. A special bus service, the Heag Airliner, commutes between Darmstadt main station (Hauptbahnhof) and the Arrival Level of Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 in Frankfurt every 30 to 60 minutes. After arriving at the main station change to the local streetcar lines 2, 3 and 9 or bus lines F, H and K towards downtown. Exit the vehicle at “Darmstadt Schloss” (castle). From there just walk at the right side of the science and conference center (Wissenschafts- und Kongresszentrum) “Darmstadtium” towards the main entrance of the Fraunhofer IGD.
