Interdisciplinary RTG Papers accepted at CCS 2022 Workshop in Los Angeles

The interdisciplinary paper on “ (opens in new tab)” by RTG PhDs Amos Treiber (TU Darmstadt) and Dirk Müllmann (University Frankfurt) as well as the RTG PIs Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Schneider (TU Darmstadt) and Prof. Dr. Indra Spiecker genannt Döhmann, LL.M. (University Frankfurt) was accepted at the Workshop on Privacy in the Electronic Society ( Data Protection Law and Multi-Party Computation: Applications to Information Exchange between Law Enforcement Agencies). The workshop is affiliated with the ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security ( WPES) which takes place in November 7-11, 2022 in Los Angeles, U.S.A. CCS
In the interdisciplinary work, the RTG researchers investigate the problem of private information exchange between Law Enforcement Agencies from both a legal and technical angle and propose a system for lawful information exchange using Multi-Party Computation and private set intersection.
