Interdisciplinary RTG Papers accepted at CCS 2022 Workshop in Los Angeles

The interdisciplinary paper on “Data Protection Law and Multi-Party Computation: Applications to Information Exchange between Law Enforcement Agencies (opens in new tab)” by RTG PhDs Amos Treiber (TU Darmstadt) and Dirk Müllmann (University Frankfurt) as well as the RTG PIs Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Schneider (TU Darmstadt) and Prof. Dr. Indra Spiecker genannt Döhmann, LL.M. (University Frankfurt) was accepted at the Workshop on Privacy in the Electronic Society (WPES). The workshop is affiliated with the ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security (CCS) which takes place in November 7-11, 2022 in Los Angeles, U.S.A.

In the interdisciplinary work, the RTG researchers investigate the problem of private information exchange between Law Enforcement Agencies from both a legal and technical angle and propose a system for lawful information exchange using Multi-Party Computation and private set intersection.
