Since January 2022, Alina Stöver collaborated during a virtual research stay with the SIRIUS Lab at the University of Glasgow, Scotland. As part of the collaboration, she conducted experiments to investigate the influence of deceptive designs in cookie consent banners on user perception and interaction with websites. Her stay was hosted by Associated Professor Mohamed Khamis and Post Doctoral Research Associate Karola Marky.

The intensive exchange at the beginning of the year was the starting point for a longer-term cooperation.
