RTG members took part in the 2023 Joint Workshop of the German RTGs in Computer Science

2023/06/07

The RTG Privacy and Trust (GRK 2050) was the oldest RTG to take part in the workshop that was held from June 04th to 07th, 2023. This year, the Workshop was an in-person event held at its usual venue in Schloss Dagstuhl – Leibniz Center for Informatics. The Joint Workshop is a traditional annual meeting intended for the German Research Training Groups funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG) in the field of computer science.

Members of the RTG Privacy and Trust participate in the workshop every year. This year,

three of our PhD students presented their ongoing work: Andreas Brüggemann (A.1), Simon Althaus (B.2) and Matthias Gazzari (C.1).

In addition to the presentations of the funded researchers‘ projects,

participants could enjoy networking and two invited talks: “Reproducibility and beyond: Towards Sustainable Data Science” given by Johannes Köster, University of Duisburg-Essen, and “Bits and Bugs – a Review of Software Failures in Computational Science” by Thomas Huckle, TU Munich.

The proceedings with the abstracts of the research topics of funded researchers are available online.
