Female Student (Travel) Award 2022

With this award, our Research Training Group, the Collaborative Research Centers and MAKI and the LOEWE Center CROSSING recognize exceptionally well performances of female students in computer science, electrical engineering and information technology. emergenCITY
The seven winners will be awarded a stipend of 500 euros and we want to encourage them to use the money to attend one of the listed conferences, which are focused on connecting female researchers in computer science and engineering, to take advantage of the excellent networking opportunities during these events.
We invite you to attend one of the following (online) conferences:
- Informatica Feminale remote (25/07 – 05/08) online
- Ingenieurinnen-Sommeruni remote (25/07 – 05/08) online
- ditact Summer Studies (22/08 – 03/09), Salzburg, Austria + online

- Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing (20/09 – 23/09), Orlando, USA + online
- Ada Lovelace Festival December TBD

Apply with a letter of motivation, your CV, your personal performance summary (TUCaN-Leistungsspiegel), and a description of your connection or interest to the field of research of CROSSING, MAKI, RTG Privacy & Trust, or emergenCITY. Optionally, you can include which conference you attended or plan to attend. Notifications will be sent out by the beginning of July and the online award ceremony will be on 14 July 2022.
