Das Fachgebiet „Software Engineering“ gegründet im September 2011 steht unter der Leitung von Prof. Dr. Reiner Hähnle.

Forschungsschwerpunkte:

• Formale Spezifikation und deduktive Verifikation von Programmen
• Modellierung und statische Analyse nebenläufiger und verteilter Systeme
