Existent Map services, such as Google Maps and Apple Maps, are great tools to get directions and some related information to navigate through urban environments. In spite of this, when it comes to situations where specialized or specific contextual information associated to the environment is needed those services are quite limited.
Goal
Develop a VR map app that depicts Darmstadt in 3D and incorporates information that can be essential for emergency scenarios, obtained from a variety of sources, such as social media.
Requirements
- Programming experience is required
- Hands-on experience in 3D modeling and/or 3D game development
- Hands-on experience in data analysis (machine learning)
- Eagerness to learn and work hard
