Publication by TK researchers accepted at a top venue

One more publication entitled “Advancing Trust Visualisations for Wider Applicability and User Acceptance” by TK researchers Oksana Kulyk, Benjamin Reinheimer, Paul Gerber, Florian Volk, Melanie Volkamer and Max Mühlhäuser has been accepted at top venue 16th IEEE International Conference on Trust, Security and Privacy in Computing and Communications (IEEE TrustCom-17) which will take place on August 1-4 in Sydney, Australia.

Prof. Dr. Max Mühlhäuser gave invited talk at IT-Sicherheitskongress in Bonn

On May 17th, Prof. Dr. Max Mühlhäuser gave an invited talk at the 15th “Deutscher It-Sicherheitskongress” about industrial security and internet of things (IoT) in Bonn-Bad Godesberg. In his keynote “Sicherheit, Privatheit, Vertrauen bei IoT – Herausforderungen für|Recht und Technik” he illustrated privacy, trust and security within IoT as well as the major challenges in law and engineering.

Papers presented at IEEE ICDCS 2017

TK researchers (Dr. Lin Wang and Julien Gedeon from the SUN area) have made research progress on edge computing and recently, they presented two papers at the 37th IEEE International Conference on Distributed Computing Systems (ICDCS). ICDCS is a premier venue and the oldest conference for distributed computing research.

Fast minütlich werden Angriffe registriert. Die Forscher erhalten so zahlreiche Informationen über Cyber-Angriffe und erarbeiten daraus Abwehrstrategien.

TK leistet im Projekt PEN Beiträge zum Kernthema Resilienz zukünftiger Stromnetze

Dabei wurden zum einen zentrale Beiträge zum Algorithmus zur Bildung von Holonen, also autonomen, veränderlichen Sub-Netzes geleistet und ein Software-Werkzeug namens HOLEG entwickelt.

Paper on “Edge Computing” accepted at INFOCOM 2018

Recently, TK Researcher Dr. Lin Wang made research progress on edge computing and got a paper accepted at INFOCOM 2018. INFOCOM is a premier venue for computer networking research. This year it received 1606 submissions, of which 309 papers were accepted (acceptance rate of 19.2%). More information about the conference can be found on http://infocom2018.ieee-infocom.org.
