People at UKP

I am a doctoral candidate currently researching the topic of privacy in NLP. I originally completed my Bachelor's degree at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada, followed by my Master's degree at Seoul National University, South Korea, on the subject of automatic metaphor identification. Before starting my position at UKP as a PhD student, I also completed an internship at NAVER LABS Europe in Grenoble, France, working on adapting graph neural network architectures for document layout analysis.

My research interests include implementing differentially private methods in NLP, interpretability within deep learning systems, figurative language processing, as well as graph-based deep learning.
