Examination manager for the Master's degree programmes

2025/02/28

Since January, Alessandra Nesensohn has been supporting the Office of Student Affairs as the new Examinations Manager. She previously worked in the Department of History and Social Sciences. We wish her a good start and asked her a few questions to get to know her better.

What tasks will you take on in the Office?

I will be in charge of the Master's degree programmes in the Department of Computer Science and will also be responsible for the administration of teaching assignments in future.

What experience do you have from previous positions?

I have been working as an administrative-technical assistant (ATM) in various positions at TU Darmstadt for over ten years. I have experience in assisting the Dean's Office and a Research Group in the Department of Social and Historical Sciences and have also worked in the Office of Student Affairs.

What do you find particularly exciting about the new tasks?

I find the international nature of the degree programmes and the associated work with students from different countries particularly exciting.

When and how can you be contacted by students?

On Tuesdays, we offer a personal consultation hour from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the Student Office. On Wednesdays, consultation hours take place online via Zoom from 10 am – 12 pm. All information can also be found on our website.

Your best tip for students:

Our FAQ pages offer a lot of helpful information. It is also essential to thoroughly familiarise yourself with your own examination regulations and module handbook at an early stage. To ensure that enquiries are processed quickly, we also ask students to state their matriculation number whenever they contact us
