Prof. Dr. Iryna Gurevych talks about language understanding at the Odenwald Academy

Prof. Dr. Iryna Gurevych will give a talk on the current state and future challenges of language understanding by machines at the Odenwald Academy. After the introduction into language understanding as such, she will present two research projects of the Ubiquiotus Knowledge processing lab (UKP) at the Technische Universität Darmstadt. The project deal with research on automatic information structuring and search for arguments in unstructured text data. Prof. Gurevych will conclude the talk by outlining some opportunities which communes can seize through introduction of language understanding into their digital workflows.
