The DFG has approved funding for a new project “Evidence: computer-assisted interactive extraction of dictionary examples from large corpora” for three years. In this project, we investigate novel approaches for extracting good and diverse dictionary examples from large existing corpora. Together with our project partners from the BBAW, we will work towards easing the work for lexicographers by providing automated suggestions for one of the largest existing contemporary dictionaries for German (https://www.DWDS.de/).
