German TV channel SWR podcasts UKP projects about corona

UKP works on different projects helping to deal with the corona crisis. In the first of a series of podcasts from SWR, Dr. Johannes Daxenberger explains how automatically extracted arguments can support decision makers in times of crisis. For that, we will publish a freely available demonstrator, which creates lists of pro- and contra arguments for diverse topics regarding Covid-19, like “curfews” or “face masks”. The arguments are extracted from sources around the world and include changes over time to identify current trends in society. Listen to the podcast here.
