AI research: UKP Lab to collaborate with Amazon Alexa

Several news media report that a team from the UKP Lab has received funding from Amazon for its research in the field of Machine Learning. It is the second research grant from the U.S. company to go to TU Darmstadt in two years. The team will collaborate with AI researchers from Amazon Alexa in Berlin as part of the grant. The project goal is the creation of a »virtual research assistant«, intended to simplify the work of machine learning scientists by providing an overview and aggregation of current research.
