How did different social groups react on X/Twitter to the COVID-19 measures? And how did this influence public opinion? Prof. Marcus Maurer, together with Prof. Iryna Gurevych co-director of our research project KoPoCoV, was recently interviewed by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) on this topic:

»Corona-Maßnahmen: BMBF-Verbundprojekt erforscht Meinungsdynamiken auf Twitter«, June 3, 2024.

KoPoCoV stands for »Consensus and polarization during the COVID-19 pandemic. An automated analysis of opinion dynamics on Twitter«. It is a joint project of TU Darmstadt and JGU Mainz and is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
