On February 17th, UKP doctoral candidate Emily Jamison successfully defended her PhD thesis entitled “Crowdsource Annotation and Automatic Reconstruction of Online Discussion Threads”.

The referees of the dissertation were Iryna Gurevych (TU Darmstadt), Johannes Fürnkranz (TU Darmstadt), and Walter Daelemans (University of Antwerp). The committee was composed of Karsten Weihe, Michael Waidner, and Gerhard Neumann.
