“Debating Technologies” is the topic of an innovative five-day seminar to be held on 13 to 18 December 2015 at the Leibniz-Zentrum für Informatik in Dagstuhl. The seminar, co-organized by UKP head Iryna Gurevych, will lay the groundwork for a new interdisciplinary research community. Debating-oriented information retrieval, argumentation mining, opinion mining, debating polarity analysis, persuasive content generation, computational emotion analysis, debating technologies applications, are just some of the topics to be discussed.
