Abstract:

on December 3rd, I’d like to invite you to a Scrum tutorial with a focus on student supervision. I believe there is some headroom for better student supervision. I’m neither an expert on Scrum nor student supervision. I certainly won’t be able to explain every detail of scrum. The idea of the Scrum tutorial will be to develop and exchange ideas for student supervision.

It will be a hands-on tutorial. You can leave your laptops in your offices and you certainly won’t need any chairs. We will start with a short brainstorming session about the problem, then a very brief introduction of Scrum concepts. Next, we will do a Scrum project in small groups and finally conclude with a discussion of which Scrum aspects can be used for student supervision or even for your research projects.
