VisADoc: New project for analysis of natural language documents using feature-based visualization

2012/11/16

Prof. Iryna Gurevych's project of feature-based visualization and analysis of natural language documents (VisADoc) began in the UKP-DIPF group in Frankfurt on 1 October 2012. The project was accepted for funding by Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (German Research Foundation).

This project, established in cooperation with the University of Konstanz, aims to investigate novel textual features for modeling content-related text properties, to develop an interactive feature engineering approach for complex user-defined semantic properties, and to develop visual analysis tools that support the exploration of large document collections with respect to a certain text property.
