Invited talk by Verena Henrich

On 22 January 2013, Verena Henrich will be giving an invited talk and meeting with interested researchers. The topic of the talk will be: “Creating a Sense-Annotated Corpus for German WSD.” In this talk, Verena will present a new resource, the WebCAGe corpus, consisting of an automatically-created web-harvested corpus annotated with senses from the German wordnet GermaNet. She will also discuss the alignment of GermaNet and Wiktionary and present initial WSD experiments on German that are based on a suite of semantic relatedness measures and evaluated on WebCAGe.
