The Hessian Center for Artificial Intelligence (hessian.AI), funded by the Federal State of Hesse, is a Germany-wide unique institution supported by 13 Hessian universities bundling their expertise. Iryna Gurevych is founding faculty and PI.

The LOEWE Center DYNAMIC is a collaborative project involving multiple universities and institutes, led by Philipps-University Marburg. Researchers from psychology, psychiatry, statistics, and computer science aim to improve mental health diagnosis and treatment by using dynamic network and machine learning models. The project seeks to understand mental disorders as dynamic networks of psychological and neurobiological processes, moving away from simplified categorical descriptions.
