Our Doctoral College “Privacy and Trust for Mobile Users” is an interdisciplinary collaboration between Computer Science and the fields of Law, Economics, Sociology, and Psychology.
Our research follows the technological structure of four focused research areas, each involving multiple disciplines. The first three areas (A-C) reflect the “network side” whereas the fourth area (D) reflects the user. The interaction of users with service networks (A), social media/networks (B), and sensor-supported networks (C) also represents our joint use cases/scenarios. The area (D) is responsible for connecting these scenarios with the user’s mobile devices each.
If required, we also form task forces across two or more of research areas.
