Research Areas

Our Doctoral College “Privacy and Trust for Mobile Users” is an interdisciplinary collaboration between Computer Science and the fields of Law, Economics, Sociology, and Psychology

. Our research follows the technological structure of four focused research areas, each involving multiple disciplines. The first three areas (A-C) reflect the “network side” whereas the fourth area (D) reflects the user. The interaction of users with service networks (A), social media/networks (B), and sensor-supported networks (C) also represents our joint use cases/scenarios. The area (D) is responsible for connecting these scenarios with the user’s mobile devices each.

If required, we also form task forces across two or more of research areas.
